Through her marketing outreach and management of internal and external communications, she brings recognition to the significant economic impact the organization is having locally and nationally, while building community and corporate awareness around the benefits of supporting entrepreneurship.

Prior to working at the EC, Katie was a Client Leader at COHO Creative, a brand strategy, innovation, and design company, where she spearheaded local, national, and global projects from kick-off to successful milestone completion rooted in brand strategy, relationship management, and innovative ideas. Other previous roles include Account Manager at Saatchi & Saatchi X, a highly respected firm and revered hothouse for world-changing ideas and brand experiences, Client Manager at Landor Associates, where she managed a variety of CPG-focused initiatives driven by brand strategy, and Account Executive at Promotion Executive Partners managing all aspects of promotional marketing campaigns. Her first job out of college was as Senior Marketing Coordinator for Commuter Advertising, an innovative startup that empowers advertisers to engage with people on the move at targeted locations and times through captivating digital transit media.

As a side hustle she consults and has helped build a website and manage the Instagram account for her wedding florist – O’Reilley Floral & Design in Harrison, Ohio. Additionally, Katie is an Emerging Leader with the Cincinnati Parks Foundation and a Board Member at Slow Food USA (Cincinnati Chapter), helping to generate awareness and attract investment. She resides in the Cincinnati metropolitan area with her husband and their adorable dogs, a Frenchie named Olive and Boxer named Woxy.

What inspires you most about entrepreneurship?
  • I grew up with a dad who took an enormous risk by investing in a small business. I respect the grind and grit that it takes to dedicate your time and energy towards a dream. These entrepreneurs, also known as “doers”, are the real MVPs in life.
