David Speed

David Speed is a Commercialization Training Facilitator at Entrepreneur’s Center with more than 21 years of federal acquisition and Procurement Contracting Officer experience supporting innovation, technology development, and mission-driven programs within the U.S. Department of Defense. Throughout his government career, Dave served in multiple acquisitions leadership roles and now helps organizations navigate complex federal funding and procurement pathways. He is a proud Central State University alumnus.

In addition to his government and consulting experience, David is also a successful entrepreneur and founder of SLS Auto Rentals, where he has built and scaled a profitable operation from the ground up. His unique combination of federal expertise and real-world business ownership allows him to bridge strategy with execution for the companies he supports.
