The ARTery is a large Co-Op Gallery with 17 talented artists and artisans located in the Front Street Building in downtown Dayton. Our Visiting Artist of the Month is Kim Dybvad. Whether it was with a paintbrush in hand, a camera around her neck, or a notebook filled with musings, Kim’s artistic pursuits began to take shape at an early age. These days she uses a fascinating mix of pigmented resin, rare earth crystals, and paint on metal surfaces to create stunning, unique works of art.
The ARTery’s Artist of the Month, Bob Farley is busy creating images to get everyone in a spooky, Halloween mood. An award-winning photographer, Bob has been taking pictures professionally for about a decade. Nature remains one of his favorite subjects, but Bob recently developed an interest in urban shots, including locations of abandoned structures.
The ARTery Gallery currently has 17 Artists and Artisans with work on display including Watercolor, Acrylic, and Oil Painting, Digital Fine Art, Photography, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Ceramics, Mosaics, Custom Jewelry, Fiber Art, Woodworking, and Sculpture with styles ranging from Traditional to Contemporary.
