Jelani Johnson

Jelani Johnson serves as the Executive Director of the Innovative Business Resource Opportunity Center (iBROC), where he leads efforts to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting business owners and entrepreneurs with the resources, relationships and opportunities needed to launch, grow and sustain successful businesses.
Jelani brings extensive experience in small business development, capital readiness, procurement and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining iBROC, he served as Director of the Dayton Region Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) at the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, where he worked to advance the growth and sustainability of small and diverse businesses throughout the region. He previously supported minority business development across Central and Southern Ohio with the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council.
Jelani studied at The Ohio State University and is a Certified Business Advisor (CBA) through Kent State University. He is deeply committed to entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and building strong business ecosystems that provide entrepreneurs with the tools, connections and opportunities to define and achieve their own vision of success.
