Join the Dayton region’s largest service outing for early career professionals to ‘Get Out & Give Back’.
This year, Generation Dayton, the Dayton Area Chamber’s early career professionals program will focus its volunteer efforts on giving back to various non-profit organizations throughout the community. These organizations are working hard for our community day in and day out, and this is an opportunity to give back. Generation Dayton Day gives attendees the opportunity to enjoy lunch, hear a presentation from a community leader, then ‘Get Out and Give Back.’
Our keynote speaker this year will be Rachel Ward, Vice President at the Omega Community Development Corporation in Dayton, Ohio. Join us for lunch, networking and programming. After a day of giving back, participants will celebrate with an after-party: Details on this coming soon!
Volunteer sites will be selected by participants upon arrival at the Dayton Metro Library at the kick-off on Friday, June 21st. Volunteer spots at each site will be limited, and are on a first-come, first served basis. Participating organizations will be announced as the event approaches. T-shirts will be provided, size availability will also be first come, first-served. Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toed shoes, bring/wear sunscreen, and dress for the weather (some sites are indoors and some are outdoors).
Thank you to our Generation Day event sponsor Messer Construction for their support of this annual community service event!
